A bridge! But not too far! Crossing it will take you nearer to Millbank or Albert Embankment. Nice scenic views of the river though!

Don't go straight into London over Westminster Bridge. Take a walk down The Queen's Walk instead, cross this lovely bridge and wind your way through Victoria Tower Gardens.

Lambeth Bridge is painted red, the same colour as the seats in the House of Lords, which it is nearer to. Likewise neighbouring Westminster Bridge is painted green, the colour of the Commons.

An establishing shot of Lambeth Bridge and The Palace of Westminster was used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) as Hagrid takes Harry shopping before he begins at Howart's.
